Kuliax 6.0 SE-01 released on January 23, 2007. It includes papers and presentations of all presenters at Seminar Open Source & Hacking WiFi.

Our Fifth Kuliax Request Package sent to Bali, on Tuesday, Jan 9, 2007.

Thank you to all requestors who donated money for packaging and shipping Kuliax 6.0 to their cities, also Yuda for the CD cases.

Bambang N Prastowo wrote an article titled “Kuliax: Kandidat Distro Standar Kampus UGM” on his homepage. He said that:

” … for fast migration to FOSS in Gadjah Mada University (UGM), UGM needs a GNU/Linux distro which includes at least Statistics package, Office suite and Internet access. Kuliax has this criteria. Debian/KNOPPIX as its based has giving a good platform for hardware supports (complete drivers). PPTIK needs as many as possible download and installation of Kuliax in UGM, so PPTIK can make decision to support Kuliax Development.”

Our Fourth Kuliax Request Packages sent to four places in Indonesia, on Wednesday, Jan 3, 2007. All of the recipients are our selected person/media to do testing on Kuliax 6.0.

Steve from linuxlinks.com sent us an e-mail on Dec 26, 2006. He said that one of their visitors has submitted Kuliax to LinuxLinks.com and the entry has been approved. Kuliax now listed in the Distributions/LiveCD category.

Kuliax Project and one of our developer will perform a presentation about “Doing Lectures with Kuliax” in Seminar Open Source and Hacking WiFi on Tuesday, Jan 23, 2006. See the poster for the details of the Seminar. This is our first presentation after the released of Kuliax 6.0 and we’ve been planning create Kuliax 6.0 Seminar Edition (SE) which includes presentation and papers of all presenters in that Seminar.
